Einige Kilometer vom im Sommer total überlaufenen Ort Tintagel befinden sich zwei Labyrinth-Gravuren. Diese messen im Durchmesser rund 30cm und befinden sich rund 60cm über dem Erdboden. Die Gravuren sind noch sehr gut und detailliert zu erkennen und befinden sich an einem geschützt liegenden Schieferhang. Sie sind in der Nähe des "Rocky Valley" zu finden, hinter der Ruine einer alten Wassermühle, neben einem steilen Pfad, der zur Meeresbucht führt. Abbildungen von Labyrinthen findet man überall auf der Welt in Höhlen und Grabanlagen. Man vermutet, dass die damaligen Völker die Reise der Seele vom Tod zur Wiedergeburt so darstellen wollten.
A few miles away from the summer madding crowds of Tintagel are two Bronze Age labyrinth rock carvings. Each is about one foot across, three feet apart and two feet off the ground. They are still very detailed and are incised on a sheltered slate rock face that weeps after heavy rain. They are near the bottom of "Rocky Valley", behind a ruined mill, off a steep winding overhung path leading to the sea. Labyrinthine and spiral carvings can be found in prehistoric caves and burial chambers in many parts of the world. It has been suggested, that this type of carving symbolizes prehistoric man's soul journeying from death to eventual rebirth.
