Sobald Sie den Wald verlassen haben, liegt die Anlage ca. 1km weiter westlich im offenen Moorland. Grey Wethers besteht aus zwei dicht nebeneinander liegenden Steinkreisen mit 32,70m bzw. 32,90m Durchmesser. 1898 wurden die Steinkreise ausgegraben und 1909 wieder aufgerichtet. Alle Steine (bis zu 1,40m hoch) sind am oberen Ende abgeflacht was vermuten lässt, dass sie von den Erbauern bearbeitet wurden.
From the edge of the forest your destination lies ca. 1km further to the west in the open moorland. Grey Wethers consist of two stone circles of 32,70 and 32,90m in diameter. They were excavated in 1898 and re-erected in 1909. All stones are up to 1,4m in height and are flat-topped, so it could be presumed that they were shaped by man.
